The Dutch Association of Sports Medicine special issue was the clear winner of this year’s cover competition, collapsing the The South African Sports Medicine Association’s historic stronghold. Congratulations to everyone that contributed to the victory of BJSM’s September 2014 issue 18.
Sidenote: there are no official ‘loser’ covers at BJSM – excellent quality all-round for 2014.
We shared the good news with Babette Pluim and Robert-Jan de Vo, the issue’s Guest Editors, and here’s what they said:
“We are delighted to win this cover competition with the Dutch Sports Medicine (VSG) special issue. Sports medicine was recognized as a medical specialty in the Netherlands last year, and we are currently gaining a permanent position in the Dutch healthcare system. This is a positive stimulus for Dutch sports medicine, as it only adds to our momentum.”
